Unlike the original competitive version, Codenames Duet is completely cooperative. Each player sees only one side of the key card, so neither player has the full solution. You must combine your knowledge by giving clues that connect multiple words at once. The updated edition introduces 400 revised codenames, refreshed illustrations, a redesigned insert and a streamlined rulebook that makes learning the game even easier.

Spelregels

Place 25 word cards in a 5×5 grid and position the key card between both players. During your turn, give a one-word clue followed by a number. Your partner guesses which words belong to your secret agents. Every correct guess moves your team closer to victory. If someone selects an assassin, the mission ends immediately. Complete the mission by finding all 15 secret agents before you run out of timer tokens. The game also supports larger cooperative groups if you prefer to play with more than two players.
